Did you ever wonder who your child would one day call their "best friend"? I did. I was intrigued. When would it happen? Why would it happen? Who would be the target of my daughter's affections?
The answer came quite early on. Ro's second word was "Yack" (Jack). Jack, my cousin's oldest, could make Rowyn laugh at the drop of a hat. She adored everything about him.
Now that she is older and has a concept of "best friends" (thanks to David and Jonathan's relationship in the Bible), she loves both Jack and "Gracie Lou", my cousin's youngest. Jackers and Gracie Lou are both older than Ro, but love to play with her and be with her too. They have so much fun together, as you can see in the pic below. Yes, my daughter is the one who looks like she is daydreaming.....she gets that from her dad. :)
