thanksgiving

Here is my acrostic poem for Thanksgiving.

T is for being thankful for so many things, all the time, not just today.
H is for my most excellent husband - my handsome best friend whom I adore.
A is for autumn, my favourite season, with cool temperatures, the beautiful transformation of leaves to hues of gold, orange, and red.
N is for my nieces and nephews, who are all amazing individuals, much loved.
K is for the kicks from my daughter, yet unborn. They are full of such love and tenderness. I love her so much already!
S is for my favourite vegetable, squash, which I tend to eat in mass quantities this time of year. Yummy!
G is for God's grace, unfathomable, unexplainable, undeserving, yet so needed.
I is for the investments of time, love, and energy in me over the years by friends and family.
V is for Veronica, my mom, my parent, along with my dad. Cheers to the parental unit who was my biggest cheerleader, my defender, my encourager, my supplier.
I is for ........ ice cream. Come on. Who isn't thankful for that! :)
N is for my neighbours, far and wide, friend and not-yet friend, whom I am called to love and serve.
G is for all the good things I partake in every day.
