November 9 marks a very special day on the Smith calendar. It is Ben's birthday!! This year his birthday fell on a Sunday, so we could celebrate him all day long. Ro enjoyed watching Ben blow out his candles on his birthday cake at the Drumms on Saturday night (thanks, Shanny, for an awesome birthday dinner). She REALLY likes Ben's birthday gift (and Christmas gift, and next birthday gift, and next Christmas gift, etc.) - an iPhone. She thinks the big colour display and flashy icons are a pretty neat toy! Next birthday in the Smith household - Nana's on Wednesday, Uncle Randy's later in the month, and then Ro's on December 3rd. :)

Rowyn is so sweet and growing up so fast! She always looks so happy, and I can't imagine her any other way with parents like you guys who have such a healthy perspective on life and loving others. She's a blessed little girl to be raised by you!
