We had a great family weekend this past weekend! The weather was amazing, the time to reflect on sacrifices and love was meaningful, and the joy that was shared was well-timed. It was one of those weekends I would love to repeat over and over......
Two of our closest friends, Christa ("Ta Ta") and Sandra ("Sanda"), came over for the afternoon and evening on Friday. We had a great time at the park and walking around our neighbourhood. On Saturday, we spent the whole day together, hanging out, enjoying the weather and the slide in our backyard, and then we walked around downtown Oakville, partaking in sausage on a bun and Marble Slab ice cream (it gets no better than this). Then we headed out on the town for a date night (for inquiring minds, we went to a movie). After church on Sunday, we headed to Ancaster and spent the day with Tam's family. Prime rib with all the fixings, good conversation, rearranging furniture....ahhhhhhh. Ro loves her cousin Clark ("Cluck"). :) We hope you all had an amazing weekend too!
